Imagine this as a banana split sundae that you put into your jug blender and turn into a creamy smoothie.

  • 1 tsp. chocolate-hazelnut crème
  • 200 ml milk

  • 150 grams strawberries
  • 100 grams frozen raspberries
  • 200 grams plain low fat yoghurt
  • 200 ml pomegranate juice

Garnish (Optional)

  1. Pour inside a glass or cup and garnish with mint leaves, candied lemon/lime peel, and pomegranate seeds. Have fun here, use one, two, or three of the ingredients, it's entirely up to you.

Tip #1: Buy fresh pomegranate juice or use the seeds for a fibre-rich smoothie which is good for our digestive system

Tip #2: Use frozen strawberries if you like a slushy-like consistency

4) Raspberry & Banana Cheesecake Shake

https://www.braunhousehold.com/en-sg/recipe/raspberry-and-banana-cheesecake-shake/r/fed5b600e3ba6b547876

Can't decide between an edible dessert or a berry smoothie? The Raspberry & Banana Cheesecake Shake gives you the best of two worlds. Satisfy kids' cheesecake and smoothie cravings easily using a jug blender for a creamy drinkable cheesecake. It's easier than making a cheesecake.

As the cream cheese has a thick texture, a powerful blender like the Identity Collection Jug blender with a 1000W motor is recommended to effortlessly blend all the ingredients. If you're using the PowerBlend 3, use the turbo mode to power through the cream cheese,  it may take slightly longer to process all the ingredients to a fine consistency compared to the Identity Collection Jug blender

Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 1 small banana
  • 200 grams cream cheese (softened)
  • 200 grams frozen raspberries
  • 30 grams maple syrup
  • 375 ml milk
  • 6 or as needed shortbread biscuits

Method

  1. Chop the pieces of shortbread biscuits using the jug blender into small pieces, big enough that you can chew them. Set aside 1/4 of the shortbread biscuit pieces for garnish.
  2. Add the small banana, cream cheese, raspberries, milk, and maple syrup into the blender jug. As the texture of the cream cheese is quite thick, use the turbo mode on the PowerBlend 3 to work through the thick textures easier. Add more milk if needed.
  3. When thoroughly blended, pour into a glass or cup and garnish with the remaining shortbread pieces.

Tip #1: You can use strawberry or raspberry sauce to line the glasses or cups for a swirl effect before pouring in the smoothie. Alternatively, draw some lines on the top of the smoothie.

Tip #2: We recommend softening and smoothening the cream cheese before blending with the other ingredients for easier blending.

Tip #3: The smoothie may not be cold after blending, if so let the smoothie sit in an ice bath for a quick cool down or add ice to serve.
